A New Age
Rebuilding my development environment
Over the past few years I have collected a strange pile of projects: analytics, automation, investing notes, Raspberry Pi builds, dashboards, scripts, and websites.
After building a new PC, I had to rebuild the development environment from scratch. Annoying at first. Useful by the end.
It forced me to revisit the basics:
- Git and GitHub
- Node and npm
- VS Code
- local dev servers
- project folders and deployment habits
That kind of setup work is easy to ignore until it breaks. Then it becomes the whole project.
I want this site to become a cleaner place to document what I am building across investing, automation, AI workflows, dashboards, local research, and whatever else keeps pulling at me.
For now, this is a checkpoint.
The builder workflow is back online.
