The site is rebuilt
I rebuilt my personal website with Astro and moved the hosting to GitHub Pages.
The first version of the site was built with Vue and Firebase. Getting it online was a big deal at the time, but I barely touched it after launch. Work got busy, life got busy, and the site slowly turned into a time capsule.
When I came back to it, a lot of the old setup felt heavier than it needed to be. I wanted something easier to edit, easier to deploy, and less annoying to maintain.
Astro fit that job.
I rebuilt the homepage, cleaned up the About page, migrated the old posts, and got the site back into a place where I might actually use it.
That is the point of this version: fewer moving parts, more writing, more project notes, and a site that does not fight me every time I want to change something.
